Startup Commands in Your Own Terminal App
Open a project in iTerm, Terminal, Ghostty or Windows Terminal with a command already running. The Machine tab of New Terminal lists your startup commands beside the terminal apps installed on this machine; the app opens at the project root, runs the one you picked, then drops to a normal shell.

Launching your own terminal on a project used to leave you at a bare prompt, re-typing or re-pasting the agent command you run every time. Now the same startup commands you manage inside 1DevTool are one click away in the Machine tab, with the same **All / AI Agents / Normal** split and counts as Manage Commands. Click a command to arm it for the app you open, or double-click to open with it right away — the label tells you where it lands (`opens in Ghostty`). Pick nothing and you get a plain shell, exactly as before.
How It Works
Get started in 4 simple steps
Open the Machine tab of New Terminal
It lists the terminal applications installed on this machine — Ghostty, iTerm, Terminal, or Windows Terminal.
Pick the app
The startup command list below it updates to say where a command will land, e.g. `opens in Ghostty`.
Find the command
The same All / AI Agents / Normal split as Manage Commands, with counts, so an agent launcher is a click away from a plain shell.
Arm it, or open with it
Click to arm a command for the app you open, or double-click to open with it right away. Pick nothing and you get a plain shell, exactly as before.
Land at the project root
The app opens in the project directory, runs the command you picked, then drops to a normal login shell you can keep using.
