Select, Merge and Close Terminals
Right-click a terminal, choose Select, and tick the panes you care about across tabs, splits and mosaic tiles. From there you can merge their transcripts into a single briefed agent — seeing each source's message count first — or close the whole selection in one confirmed step.

Why You Need This
How this feature boosts your daily productivity
A long session leaves work scattered across a dozen terminals, and consolidating it meant copying transcripts out one at a time and pasting them somewhere else, losing track of what you had already moved. Selection mode makes the whole set addressable at once. Merge combines the selected transcripts into a single prompt and hands it to an existing AI terminal or a new one, and it tells you up front which terminals could not be attributed to a session so you know exactly what context will and will not carry. Ticking a box never switches the active terminal, so you can gather a selection while an agent is still streaming.
How It Works
Get started in 4 simple steps
Right-click a terminal and choose Select
Checkboxes appear on every visible tab and pane, including mosaic tiles, and the terminal you right-clicked starts checked. Ticking a box never switches the active terminal.
Tick the sessions you care about
The action bar counts them — "3 of 8 selected" — with Select all and Deselect all beside it. Escape or Done leaves the mode at any time.
Merge them into one agent
Merge lists each source with its message count and flags any terminal that could not be attributed to a session, so you see what will and will not contribute context before anything is sent.
Choose the target, then send
Merge into an existing AI terminal or a new one, and optionally tick "Close the merged terminals afterwards" so the sources clean themselves up while the target stays open.
Or close the whole selection
Close asks once — "Close 3?" — then closes them together. Right-clicking a project offers Close All Terminals, and Reopen Closed Terminal still works afterwards.
