v1.18.2May 7, 2026
One-Click VPS Handoff to Server Compass and Menu Bar Tray
A new Server Compass (VPS) tab in the Deploy dialog packages your project as a validated deployment bundle and hands it to the Server Compass desktop app via deep link — no more re-typing context to deploy a 1DevTool project to a VPS. The new system tray icon (with macOS dock badge) shows a live count of working AI agents and lets you jump to any of them in one click.

What changed
New features
5- One-Click VPS Handoff to Server Compass — New Server Compass (VPS) tab in the Deploy dialog packages your project as a deployment bundle. Auto-detects Dockerfile, docker-compose.yml, and .env; runs local validation on Compose syntax, Dockerfile shape, git remote URL, and .env format before handing it off. Pick GitHub repo (Server Compass clones on the VPS) or Local folder upload (copies your working dir over SSH).
- Graceful fallback when Server Compass isn't installed — If the deep link doesn't open, you get the bundle path with a one-click Copy path button so you can finish the import manually. Stale bundles in temp storage are cleaned up automatically on app start.
- System tray icon — Tray icon (menu bar on macOS, system tray on Windows/Linux) shows a live count of AI agents currently producing output. macOS dock badge mirrors the same count and clears the moment everything goes idle.
- Jump to any active AI terminal from the tray — Tray dropdown lists every active AI terminal across all your projects, sorted with working agents first, with each project's avatar or emoji badge. Click an entry to focus that project and that terminal in one step.
- Switch projects from the tray — The tray menu also lists your recent projects so you can hop between projects without bringing the main window forward.
