What changed
New features
28- Delegate to an AI terminal you already have open — mention a terminal in Agent Input and your prompt is delivered into that live agent instead of spawning a new one
- A new Terminals tab in the mention picker lists every open AI terminal, grouped by project and searchable by terminal or project name
- Links can cross projects, so a terminal in one project can hand work to an agent in another
- Mention this terminal in the same message to open a reply channel back, so the answer arrives in your terminal instead of being printed in the peer's
- Delivered work comes back with its answer — every delivered message now carries who sent it and the exact command to answer, and a reply marks the original request answered
- Terminals arrange themselves while agents collaborate — a project running live orchestration switches to the 2×2 grid so you can watch the participants; changing the layout yourself always wins
- The orchestration cockpit now lives above your terminals — the map, runs, and logs appear in the workspace instead of three clicks deep in a dialog, and nothing renders until a project actually has something live
- A participant rail of agent pills shows status, attention, link direction counts, and context usage; click one to jump to its terminal
- Resize, collapse, and switch between Map / Runs / Logs — remembered per project
- Counters you can act on, not just read
- N awaiting reply — see every delivered request still unanswered, and Nudge a peer to send the answer it already has
- N stuck — delegations delivered to an agent with no way to answer
- N quarantined — links whose terminal was restarted or closed, with Relink and Clear all
- Resume team — reconnect a whole project's agents after a restart with one action, and each terminal gets a single catch-up notice instead of one per link
- Open swarm decisions are visible while agents vote, with Cancel for a decision whose peer disappeared
- See your agents and how work flows between them — a Team Map tab in the Orchestration Dashboard, and the same map inline in Mission Control
- Terminal cards show the agent logo, live status, context usage, and the latest prompt; links show their permissions and pulse green as a message is delivered
- Drag one terminal onto another to link them (with a confirmation), click an edge to unlink, click a card to jump to that terminal
- Zoom, re-center, and auto-fit; manual node positions are remembered per project
- Read the collaboration as a story — a recent-activity rail stitches deliveries into chains like claude → codex → fable → claude, pulsing while the newest hop waits, with a per-chain timeline and copy-as-text for sharing
- Know how full an agent's context is — a context chip next to the model chip on terminal tabs and pane headers shows the share of the context window the last turn used, updating for the terminal you're working in
- Open several terminals at once — flip Multi-select in Add Terminal, tick any mix of AI agents, shells, and machine terminals, and open the whole batch with one click
- Save a combination as a named set — reopen your usual line-up (for example a reviewer, a builder, and a shell) from a chip in the Add Terminal dialog, then update or delete it in place
- Every terminal in the batch starts immediately — the agents boot in the background at the right size, so switching to a tab shows a running agent instead of an empty pane
- Resume a whole agent team — sessions that ran as one linked team are marked in Resume AI Sessions, and a banner offers to bring every member back in one confirmation
- Members show a team chip so you can tell collaborative sessions from solo ones
- Once the terminals are running, Mission Control's Resume team reconnects them
- See which agent needs you — agents that finish or stop and wait now surface in the activity feed with a detail line and click-to-navigate, including the assistant's last message, without duplicating your completion notifications
Improvements
4- Delegate from the command line and get answers back — the agent CLI gained whoami, link send (with replies), and a link status board that summarizes everything you sent and everything waiting on you, instead of one receipt per message
- Recognize linked work in the Orchestration Dashboard — the Orchestrations tab now lists projects running linked terminals with their participants, live link count, replies awaited, and a View map action; before, a project with three collaborating agents looked idle
- Keep the link list honest across restarts — links whose terminals are gone for good are cleaned up instead of piling up in the quarantined counter forever
- Open the Team Map without slowing the app — the map loads on demand and never mounts a terminal to draw a node
Bug fixes
8- Fixed delegations to Grok and Cline sitting queued forever — mentioning or linking those agents now delivers the prompt into their terminal
- Fixed a delegated agent doing the work while the answer never came back — peers now receive the exact reply command, replies mark the request answered, and unanswerable delegations are listed instead of silently waiting
- Fixed typing an agent's name spawning a duplicate while that agent's terminal sat open — the open terminal is used instead
- Fixed Cline replies being rejected as coming from an unknown terminal — Cline can now answer a delegation like every other agent
- Fixed a linked agent starting a hidden background run that stalled on its first file write — the work is routed to the linked terminal you can see and approve
- Fixed Copy Path reporting success while the clipboard stayed empty — file preview, tab menus, and the markdown toolbar now copy reliably and only report success when they did
- Fixed a large black gap on phone terminals mirroring a desktop pane — the letterboxed area now matches the terminal background instead of reading as broken layout
- Fixed Multi-select always arriving with Claude Code pre-checked — the batch starts empty, and an agent hidden in Terminal Settings is never selected by default
