Resume UI scans all your local sessions across Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini, and surfaces them in a searchable list with agent badges, project paths, timestamps, and prompt previews. One click resumes exactly where you left off. Even better: select multiple sessions and combine them into a single new conversation, so your agent starts with the full context of everything that came before. No more copy-pasting between terminals to rebuild context.
How It Works
Get started in 4 simple steps
Open Resume AI Sessions
Click Sessions in the top bar or choose Resume AI Sessions… from the app menu. Sessions still running elsewhere are listed first.
Narrow it down
Search titles, prompts and session ids, Group by Date, Project or Agent, and filter by machine and project.
Read the preview
Select a row to see the branch, session id, turns and tool calls (failed ones in red) and the conversation, opened on its last 40 messages.
Resume the way you mean to
Press Resume, or Resume with options… to pick Normal or Bypass permissions, edit the command and see which terminal it opens in.
