Export Diagnostics for Support

Save one .zip with memory, CPU, open handles and threads for every 1DevTool process, recent stalls, versions and the updater log, ready to send to support. The card lists what is inside and what is not before you export, and 1DevTool never uploads it.

Why You Need This

How this feature boosts your daily productivity

Describing a slowdown in words rarely gets it fixed. Export diagnostics collects the numbers support needs in one file: per-process CPU, memory, open handles and threads, up to 20 recent stalls, the resource report, versions and the last part of the updater log. Before you export, the card tells you what is left out: no terminal text, scrollback, prompts or agent conversations; no files, folders or project paths; no API keys, tokens, account emails or environment variables; and no git, database, HTTP client or MCP activity. The file is saved to a place you choose. 1DevTool never uploads it, so you decide who gets it.

How It Works

Get started in 4 simple steps

1
1

Open Export diagnostics

Use the download button in the Resource Manager, or Settings → General → Diagnostics.

2
2

Check what is inside

The card lists every file in the archive and what is left out: terminal text, prompts, paths and keys.

3
3

Export…

1DevTool reads processes and logs, then the save dialog opens; Downloads is the default.

4
4

Send it yourself

Show in folder reveals the .zip. 1DevTool never uploads it.

Without 1DevTool

The manual way vs. the 1DevTool way

The Hard Way

# 1DevTool feels slow
# screenshot Activity Monitor
# copy a stall toast by hand
# find the updater log somewhere
# paste it all into an email

The 1DevTool Way

Resource Manager -> Export diagnostics
-> 1devtool-diagnostics-1.81.0-20261019-1430.zip
# attach it, done

Why It Matters

The productivity impact of having project management built into your workspace

Numbers, Not Guesses

Terminal text, prompts, project paths and keys are not in the file.

You Choose Who Sees It

The file stays on your disk until you send it.
