Reconnect Your Phone With a Passcode
A phone that lost its Remote connection can sign back in with a passcode instead of scanning a fresh QR code. Let 1DevTool generate a short one-time code or set your own, choose the permission every passcode-paired device receives, and manage it in Settings → Remote.

Why You Need This
How this feature boosts your daily productivity
Remote pairings expire, browsers get cleared, and devices get revoked by mistake — and every one of those used to mean walking back to your desk to scan a new QR code. A passcode lets a disconnected phone reconnect from wherever it is, with exactly the permission level you chose for passcode-paired devices.
How It Works
Get started in 4 simple steps
Turn on Reconnect in Settings → Remote
The Reconnect passcode card is off by default. Enable it and choose whether 1DevTool generates a code or you set your own.
Set the code and its permission
A generated passcode is shown once — copy it then. Pick the permission level every passcode-paired device receives before you save.
Reconnect from the phone
A phone that lost its connection — expired pairing, cleared browser data, a different browser, or a revoked device — enters the passcode to sign back in, with no fresh QR scan.
Change or clear it any time
Rotate the passcode, adjust its permission, or clear it whenever you want, even while the Remote server is stopped.

Why It Matters
The productivity impact of having project management built into your workspace
Back In From Anywhere
A dropped connection is a passcode away from fixed, instead of a trip back to your desk to rescan a QR code.
You Set The Reach
Every passcode-paired device gets exactly the permission level you chose, so reconnecting never means over-granting.
Off Until You Want It
Reconnect is off by default and fully managed in Settings → Remote — turn it on, rotate it, or clear it, even while Remote is stopped.
The Secret Stays Hashed
1DevTool keeps only a salted hash of the code, which is why a generated passcode is shown once for you to copy and never again.
