Copy Code Blocks
A copy button on every fenced code block, wherever Markdown renders — Markdown previews, Reader mode, chat messages, sticky notes, Tasks and the skill editor. One click lifts the whole snippet without selecting it.

Why You Need This
How this feature boosts your daily productivity
Dragging a selection across a code block in a terminal is a small, constant annoyance: you catch the line numbers, you miss the last line, you pick up the prompt character, and then you clean it up by hand in the editor. A copy button in the block header takes exactly the code and nothing else, and it is in every surface that renders Markdown rather than only the one place it was first added — so the muscle memory works everywhere.
How It Works
Get started in 4 simple steps
Render some Markdown
Any surface that renders Markdown works — Markdown previews, Reader mode, chat messages, sticky notes, Tasks and the skill editor.
Find the button in the block header
A fenced code block shows its language on the left and a Copy button on the right of its header bar.
Click once
The whole snippet goes to the clipboard — no line numbers, no prompt characters, no half-caught last line.
Paste it clean
What lands in your editor is the code exactly as it was fenced, so there is nothing to tidy up afterwards.
