Customization

Reset Settings

Roll back specific settings categories independently — General, Appearance, Layout, Notifications, File Tree, Browser, Terminal, IDE, AI, Shortcuts, Git, or SSH — or reset all of them together. Resets are scoped: resetting Terminal does not touch Git accounts.

Why You Need This

How this feature boosts your daily productivity

Settings drift over time. You experiment with a layout and forget to revert. Theme colors get weird. A shortcut you bound months ago conflicts with a new one. The old fix was nuking your entire config and starting over — losing the parts you actually liked. Reset Settings lets you peel off the parts that drifted without touching the parts that are dialed in.

How It Works

Get started in 4 simple steps

1
1

Open Preferences

Press Cmd+, (or Ctrl+,) to open the Preferences panel. All settings are organized in clear categories.

2

Choose Your Theme

Select Dark, Light, or System-following themes. Each is carefully tuned for readability and comfort.
