Agent Status in the Notch (macOS)
A strip under the camera notch shows one brand mark per live AI terminal and a single line of text with the most urgent state: `1 needs you` in amber, else `2 working`, else `2 idle`. Hover to expand into a list and click a row to jump to that terminal, switching project if it lives elsewhere.

How this feature boosts your daily productivity
The question you ask most often while agents run is the cheapest one to answer and the most expensive one to check: is anything waiting on me? Answering it meant raising the app and scanning panes, which costs a context switch every few minutes and pulls you back into the thing you were trying to step away from. A notch strip answers it at a glance from whatever you are actually doing. It leads with the most urgent state rather than a count, because 'needs you' is the only one that should interrupt you — working and idle are just reassurance. The marks carry state on their own, so a pulse, a flare and a dim tell you the shape of the situation before you read a word. It only exists while an AI terminal is alive, so an idle Mac has nothing hovering over your work, and it turns off entirely in Settings → Notifications → Show agent status in the notch.
How It Works
Get started in 4 simple steps
Enable it in Settings
Settings → Notifications → Show agent status in the notch. macOS only, and the strip exists only while an AI terminal is alive.
Read the one line
The strip leads with the most urgent state: `1 needs you` in amber, otherwise `2 working`, otherwise `2 idle` — so the interrupting case is the one you see first.
Read the marks
Each live AI terminal shows as its own brand mark. A working agent pulses, one waiting on you flares, an idle one dims.
Hover to expand
The strip opens into a list — brand mark, terminal name, project, state — giving you the detail without raising the app.
Click a row to jump
Clicking takes you to that terminal, switching project first if it lives in another one.
